I’ve discovered that the etiquette of other cultures, even the ones that we don’t understand, can be learned from the people that we consider to be our elders. In my case, my mom and my sister are both very good at introducing me to these things.
Ive been watching a lot of talk shows and documentaries and books on etiquette, and I’ve always had a lot of respect for a lot of people in the public eye. I’ve always thought it interesting that these people are so polite and professional that they have to be. If you want to keep your cool, you need to learn to be social. If you want to get along with people, you need to learn how to be sociable. If you want to get ahead of the curve, you need to learn to be a social butterfly.
