By I worked for a couple years as an assistant business manager for a local, but small, office supply store. The office manager position was one of those super-specific positions that were built around a specific skill set. I had to know how to organize things and work the floor. But don’t forget to be patient. As I’ve said many times before, the average reader doesn’t take many classes. That’s okay. The average student is probably a lot like you and me, and I’m sure we’d all benefit from learning from each other a little more.
I think the main reason for this is because there are so many books out there, it is difficult to choose the right one. Some books might be more relevant than others because they are written for a specific audience. For example if your job is to educate people about your company, then learning about your company might be more relevant than learning about your industry or history.
